About Us

Jennifer has been working in healthcare since 2000.  In 2001, she graduated with her RN, BSN from West Texas A&M University and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.  Since that time, she has worked in Pediatrics, Pediatric ICU, Pediatric ER, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/Stem Cell Transplant, Day Surgery, Hospice, and Urology.  She became certified as a CPN (Certified Pediatric Nurse) in 2006 and as a CPHON (Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse) in 2017.  In 2021, Jennifer graduated with her MSN, FNP from West Texas A&M University.  She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as an FNP-C.  Since graduating, she has worked in Family Medicine, Inflammation Therapeutics, and Orthopedics.  Jennifer understands the importance of having a practitioner who listens and strives to find the root cause of your symptoms. 

In 2023, Jennifer fulfilled a lifelong dream of opening a practice where she could provide the type of care her patients deserve, unencumbered by the constraints of insurance companies.  At Refined Health and Wellness, you come as strangers, but our goal is to have you leave as part of our family.
